I was sitting comfortably on my bed with my wife and children when my daughter Lisa broke the news. Although she and Johann planned to get married in March 2013, he got a very good job offer in small town about 300km (186 miles) from Bloemfontein. The wedding would have to move up to early December 2012. It was early November, and I had the princely sum of R110-00 ($12) in my bank account. The estimated cost of the wedding was R65000-00 ($7000). Where on earth would I find so much money so quickly?
